Nowadays, Internet Banking System is very common in the world which
provide one-stop services for all to deal with their account and other services.

HSBC is one of the bank in the world. In their website, you can see that they provide more internet banking services to the customer which including investment, Mortgage, Insurance, Credit card etc. HSBC can through the system to know which kind of services the customer always use and want. Then provide more suitable services for them.(source from:

In the point of attaining customer intimacy and services

In the page of insurance offer, we can see that they provide more detail information and useful tool for the customer to let them analyze which kind of insurance are suitable for them. It is a next to the skin services. Also it can attain customer intimacy and services. They may use the website backend database. Website backend database has a lot of statistics, can be based on the ip or if login, they can keep that information as well. clicking on the website, so that webpage been viewed. The times the specific webpage been clicked or viewed. Also when the clients apply for the services though internet, they may be know which kinds of services is more popular.Passing through the data, they can design the suitable one for the clients

In the page of travel insurance, when you find a suitable level of travel insurance, you can fill in the form and pay a insurance fee by credit card immediately. Then you can print out the record which you apply before. It can save time and convinence for the customer. Also it can achieve operational excellence.

Could you describe briefly how HSBC might be able to track what customers are clicking on and doing on the site ?
